What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor Roads Projects to lead the delivery of construction, maintenance and capital works programs across the Fraser Coast region. This hands-on leadership role provides the opportunity to coordinate field-based teams, oversee project delivery, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Working within our Works Operations team, you will play a key role in delivering infrastructure outcomes that benefit our community.
What your day will look like:
- Lead and coordinate road construction, maintenance and capital works crews
- Plan and manage daily and weekly work programs and resources
- Monitor project progress, productivity and service delivery outcomes
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, quality standards and traffic controls
- Manage operational records, reporting and project documentation
- Liaise with customers, contractors and stakeholders regarding works and service impacts.

What you’ll need for success:
- Valid Queensland Class C or CA Driver Licence
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Experience supervising and leading field-based operational teams
- Ability to plan, coordinate and manage work programs and resources
- Experience monitoring performance, productivity and service outcomes
- Knowledge of civil construction, maintenance or infrastructure operations
- Strong understanding of WHS,
quality and risk management practices
- Effective communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
What’s nice to have:
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or relevant trade qualification
- First Aid Certificate
- Authorised Person Safe Work Near Exposed Live Parts
