About the role

As a Motor Mechanic at shine automotive pty ltd', you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles. This full time position is based in Edwardstown SA 5039 and offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic automotive environment.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in a variety of vehicles

- You will primarily work on light commercial vehicles

- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections

- Using specialised tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues

- Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used

- Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients

- Adhering to all safety standards and procedures

- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

What we're looking for

- Relevant trade qualifications in automotive mechanics or a similar field

- Certificate III Automotive qualification is required

- Several years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership setting

- A minimum of 3 years of motor mechanic experience is required

- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues





- Proficiency in the use of automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic software

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- A commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail

- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates without Australian work rights
