Humanities Teacher (Full-Time, Ongoing) – Great School near Mildura, VIC

Are you a passionate humanities teacher looking for your next chance? We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic school located near Mildura, in the Mildura region of Victoria, which is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated humanities teacher to join its supportive and well-resourced team.

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing ASAP. The successful candidate will teach Humanities across Years 7–12.

About the role as an Humanities Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging humanities lessons across Years 7–12, fostering students' love of reading, writing and critical thinking. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality humanities lessons across Years 7–12
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking and critical analysis skills
- Create engaging, inclusive and well-managed learning experiences
- Assess and report on student progress in line with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements where applicable
- Contribute positively to the humanities faculty and wider school community




- Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues to support student success

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- A recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
- The ability to teach humanities across Years 7–12
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and, ideally
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student wellbeing and achievement
- Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills
