The opportunity
Often the first point of contact for Melbourne IVF our patient services team provide a professional, organised, welcoming and compassionate approach.
We currently have the opportunity for fix term full time team member to join our patient services team at our Collingwood clinic.
Responsibilities
As a receptionist at Melbourne IVF you are responsible for
Providing a friendly, qualified and effective service to welcome and onboard patients in preparation for their fertility treatment.
Performing front desk reception duties and managing telephone enquiries, ensuring all calls and enquiries are handled promptly, accurately, documented appropriately and followed up as required.
Registering patients in the patient management system and coordinating clinic appointments.
Liaising effectively with internal departments, fertility specialists, medical secretaries and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless patient experience.




Providing administrative support to ensure the productive day-to-day operation of reception services.
Demonstrating flexibility to work across Melbourne IVF network clinics throughout Victoria when required.
Requirements
Previous medical reception and/ or administration experience
Demonstrated ability to absorb and learn new information and processes efficiently
Ability to show empathy and understanding to our patients and all associates
Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and privacy policy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and collaborative
Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 and the ability to maintain patient databases
Proactive and self-motivated with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
Applicants must be available to work full time onsite at our Collingwood Clinic in a patient facing role.
