Scope and General Purpose of Job
To create an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting workplace.
Main Duties / Operational
To provide a courteous, skilled, efficient and versatile service at all times following the Operational Standards of Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park.
To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.




To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu and ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and up-sell alternatives.
To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organised at all times.
To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
To provide excellent customer service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
Adheres to F&B; standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and continuity of service
Ensure outlet is set and ready prior to service
Ensure accurate receipt of monies
Ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements are adhered too at all times
Working closely with the kitchen team to provide seamless service
Must have availability to work a 7 day rotating roster
