Materials handling company Starlluf cranes Pty Ltd T/A Cranetec specializing in overhead cranes and lifting equipment has many large organizational customers. Due to rapid growth of business, we are seeking a Service Technician -Electrical with solid experience and valuable mechanical aptitude for our Beresfield Branch.
Job Summary
As a Service Technician-Electrical your roles will include but not limited to:
Examining specifications and preparing materials and equipment for installations
Responsible for installations of cranes including connecting current wires and cables to connectors and handling materials and other equipment in a professional and tradesman like manner.
Carrying out project and preventative maintenance work by diagnosing faults and repairing faulty electrical parts
To communicate with clients in a skilled manner.
Ensure work is performed, within agreed times and to an acceptable standard
Ensuring all work complies with current Australian and State standards.




Requirement:
Trade certificate or Diploma in electrical
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in same or similar position within the last 5 years
Industrial maintenance repair and service experience
Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding and servicing of Overhead cranes.
Ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
Good communication skills and presentation
Working at Heights certificate
A positive and self-motivated attitude
Sound problem solving skills
Understand electrical design and fault finding
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
Understanding of OH&S;
Current driver's license
