Certificate III in Early Education and Care
Western Sydney University Early Learning has services situated on the grounds of Western Sydney University Campus, located in Campbelltown, Parramatta, Penrith and the Hawkesbury Areas.
We currently have a Part time Certificate III position (30 hours per week - 6 hours per day Monday to Friday) available at our Penrith Service (Kingswood)
This position will comply with the conditions set out in the Western Sydney University Early Learning Limited Enterprise Agreement. Our Enterprise Agreement offers above award wages and conditions including access to study leave, parental leave and 15 days personal plus additional special leave days.
Selection Criteria
First Aid Qualifications including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
DEC approved Child Protection Training Certificate.
Working with Children Check clearance and number for verification.
National Police Check.
Previous experience working in an education and care service.
Motivation to focus on Quality Interactions with children.
An enthusiasm to contribute current ideas to the overall program.
Work effectively in a large team setting.
Knowledge of Current Regulations, National Law and Early Years Learning Framework.
Experience in working with policy and procedures and being actively involved in their review
This position requires you to work unsupervised with the children and as a condition of employment: you are required to undergo a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
