As a Consultant Anaesthetist, your clinical responsibilities encompass peri-operative anaesthetic and resuscitation care for in-patients.

The Facility
Employing over 3,500 staff and encompassing an area equivalent to a quarter of Victoria, this hospital boasts more than 650 beds. Annually, it treats over 42,000 in-patients, handles 50,000 emergency cases, and delivers approximately 1,400 babies. Additionally, the hospital houses a 20-bed intensive care unit, an 80-bed integrated psychiatry facility, and 11 operating theatres where nearly 13,000 surgical procedures are conducted each year.
