Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician (Compressors)
This role involves service and repair of industrial air and gas compressors, gas engines and associated equipment.
You will be a Mechanical Fitter (Service Technician) working mainly in local projects in Lytton, QLD and once in a while you will be working in inter-state projects.
This role will involve:
Scheduled maintenance and overhaul of Compressors, Gas Engines, Rotating Machinery & associated equipment
The accurate and timely recording of data related to work performed
Fault finding and problem solving
Installation and commissioning of equipment
Working closely with sales and service personnel.
Maintaining relationships with customers to promote and retain business
Participation in training and development opportunities and sharing knowledge with colleagues
What you'll need to succeed:
Relevant formal education and training (Trade Qualifications in Fitting and Machining or Equivalent)




Experience in working with Compressors
Experience with Gas Engines and /or associated equipment in the oil and gas industry is highly regarded
A willingness to travel domestically, and occasionally to remote locations for service work at client facilities (Field Service)
A current Drivers License
What is being offered:
Hourly rate:$48-$55ph(or more for the right fit)
Annual bonuses guaranteed(15% of the salary)
Plenty ofovertimeavailable
Working hours: Mon-Thu: 6am to 2:30pm.
Fri: 6am to 12pm
