We are seeking an experienced
Locum Mental Health Clinician
to join a Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in the stunning
Northern Rivers, NSW
.
This is an excellent chance for a qualified
Social Worker or Occupational Therapist
with CAMHS experience to support children, adolescents, and their families within a multidisciplinary team.

Work in the beautiful Northern Rivers region (approximately a 6-hour drive or under a 1-hour flight from Sydney)
About the Role
You will be working within a
Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
, providing evidence-based mental health care to children and young people aged
0–18 years
, with a primary focus on adolescents aged
years
who are experiencing,



or are at risk of developing, responsible mental illness.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and their families or carers.
Support young people with complex mental health needs, including those who may be difficult to engage.
Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with appropriate community and specialist services.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred mental health care.
Contribute to the continued development and expansion of community mental health services for children and adolescents.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Qualification as a
Social Worker
or
Occupational Therapist
Previous
CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)
experience
Current driver's licence (essential)
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Ability to commence ASAP
