Hopes Fuel Supplies' is seeking an experienced Tanker Driver to join their team in Newcastle, NSW.
As a Casual Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and productive delivery of fuel to our customers across the local area.
This is an essential role that contributes directly to the successful operations of our fuel supply business.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate and manoeuvre a large fuel tanker to deliver fuel to Bulga Mine
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with safety regulations
Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required documentation
Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding the protected transportation of dangerous goods
What we're looking for
A current MC class driver's licence and a Dangerous Goods Driver Licence
5+ years' experienceoperating large commercial vehicles,



ideally fuel tankers
Solid knowledge of road rules, vehicle safety, and dangerous goods handling procedures
The ability to work independently
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
Good communication and documentation skills
