My client an award winning Builder requires an in office Health & Safety Officer for construction project based projects around Sydney metro and western suburbs .
Responsibilities
Operate sites with a best practice approach to health and safety.
Provide skilled advice and service to all areas of operation.
Supporting the HSEQ Manager to ensure Safety management system and policies are up to date.
Facilitate inductions and safety meetings.
Provide internal safety observations, audits, and workplace inspections.
Immediately notify the Construction Manager on Health and Safety issues
Maintain and monitor all environmental site-specific issues.
Onboarding Subcontractors onto site
SWMS and toolbox talks
About You
Construction site safety experience especially in the Civil and Commercial Sector.
Minimum of Certificate IV WHS including current first aid certificate
Solid understanding of WHSE site compliance requirements.
Positive attitude, excellent time management and organizational skills.
