night shifts
at our residential aged care facility in Chermside.
As a
Registered Nurse
, you will demonstrate excellent clinical capability, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care. You will be supported with ongoing career development and prospects for growth within our services.
You Will:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, care planning, and direct nursing care using a biopsychosocial model to optimise residents' independence
Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to Carers, Assistants in Nursing, and Enrolled Nurses, acting as a role model for professional practice
Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety, infection control,
and safe work practices
Provide accurate written and verbal reports on residents' social, physical, and emotional wellbeing to Clinical Nurses and Assistant Managers
Collaborate with the clinical leadership team to achieve quality outcomes for residents
What We're Looking For:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to best-practice care
Demonstrated clinical nursing proficiency and understanding of contemporary nursing theory and care documentation models
Generalist Registered Nursing experience, with aged care experience highly desirable
Ability to quickly develop a sound understanding of aged care legislation and standards and apply them in daily practice.
Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent
