Wound Specialist Nurse - RN or CN - Western Sydney
We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse based in the Western Sydney and surrounds with
relevant experience in wound care and management for an immediate start.
This position is offered as permanent part time, 4 days per week (weekdays only). Working hours are between the hours of 9am - 5pm and will require travel to service facilities across the Sydney region.
Wound Innovations is a growing national service providing wound consultations across a range of clinical settings. As well as having the chance to truly make a difference, the successful candidate will be well supported by our friendly national team and have access to free inhouse education. As this is an autonomous role, the successful candidate must be highly competent, a clinical and critical thinker and possess skills to efficiently coordinate and deliver patient care and education in collaboration with other health professionals.
Role Requirements & Key Criteria
Work autonomously across various clinical settings, including, but not limited to, residential aged care and patients' homes.
Promote wound prevention and healing by applying clinical knowledge and experience to conduct holistic assessments relating to a range of wound types:




Pressure Injuries, Lower Leg Wounds, Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Palliative Wounds, Post-operative Wounds, etc.
Confident in providing support and guidance through both formal and informal education.
Maintain accurate documentation to record interventions, guide practice, and support interdisciplinary communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, and FaceTime is essential.
Hold current AHPRA registration, National Police Clearance, and First Aid Certificate.
Possess a current Australian driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
Access to a home office for documentation and telehealth appointments (laptop and phone will be provided).
Commitment to ongoing career development.
This role will require local, and occasional regional travel within NSW.
