timber mill in Fyshwick
. This is an ongoing casual opportunity offering full time hours (38 per week) with potential for long-term work for the right candidate.
About the Role
Working within a quick-paced timber production environment, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of timber battens and assisting with general site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a forklift to move timber products safely around site
Assisting with production line duties
Stacking, sorting and strapping timber
Manual handling and repetitive lifting
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Supporting yard and dispatch teams as required
To Be Successful, You Will Have
Current Forklift Licence (essential)
Previous experience in a timber mill, manufacturing or heavy industrial workplace (highly regarded)
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Reliable transport and solid work ethic
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
What's on Offer
38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 6am to 2:30pm
