Job title: Factory Assistant and Delivery Driver (Manual C Class) Location: Leichhardt, NSW Hours: 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
Type: Full time, ongoing Start: ASAP Hourly rate: $33+ casual rate per hour
Type: Casual with potential to lead to permanent for the right applicant. About the role Our client is looking for a hands‐on Factory Assistant who is also comfortable doing local deliveries in a manual vehicle.
You'll be working in a timber and furniture manufacturing environment where teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic matter.
Key duties
Unload timber and materials into the factory and Load Customers as necessary
Assist the panel saw operator with basic support tasks
Assist the tradesman with manufacturing goods using tools as provided
Keep the factory clean, organised, and safe
Manual handling and moving bulky products across the factory
Local deliveries to customers using a manual C Class vehicle as required




What we're looking for
C Class licence with confidence driving a manual vehicle and a good driving record
Factory, warehousing or delivery experience is ideal but not essential
Comfortable working in a timber manufacturing workplace with exposure to wood dust, sanding and cutting (PPE provided).
Physically fit and comfortable lifting bulky items safely
Reliable and punctual, early starts are non negotiable
Valuable attitude, takes direction, works well in a team
Safety mindset and care for tools, equipment, and work areas
Forklift licence (or willingness to get one) Nice to have
Experience around panel saws or timber processing settings
Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, may be required for shortlisted candidates.
