Youth Off The Streets is a not-for-profit youth organisation that provides safety, support and prospects for young people to build a positive future.
We offer crisis accommodation and housing services, alternative high school education, alcohol and other drugs counselling, youth justice support, life skills and employment programs, cultural support and community engagement, among other services.
We focus on early interventions that empower young people and strengthen communities.
Not all children and young people thrive in mainstream schools.
Our registered and accredited independent high schools offer a adaptable alternative for students in Years 9–12.
We operate six independent high schools that are registered and accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Youth Off The Streets is also a member of the Association of Independent Schools of NSW (AISNSW).
About the role:
We are seeking a Trainer & Assessor to deliver the Certificate II in Skills for Work,
three days per week (Tuesday to Thursday), with one day at our Holsworthy Site, one day at our Macquarie Fields site and one day at our Heathcote site, working with students aged *.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*) or equivalent.
Proven experience working with young people aged * in educational or community settings.
Robust organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be onsite for training delivery.
Proficiency with digital tools for training and assessment (e.g., Zoom, Cloud Assess).
Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
