Leading Hand / Junior Site Manager - Eastern Suburbs - 5 days per week
Are you a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to work with one of Sydney's most highly regarded high-end residential builders, specialising in architecturally designed renovations and additions across the Eastern Suburbs. You'll be supported in your development by the senior team and molded into a great builder.
Responsibilities:
Supervise architectural renovation and addition projects
Complete carpentry work when needed
Ensure all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
Support and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
Maintain a tidy and respectful site - especially significant when working on occupied properties




Maintain a secure working environment and ensure all workers comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience out of your carpentry apprenticeship with experience leading a team as a Leading Hand / Foreman
Experience working on high-end residential builds (essential)
Renovation and addition experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Eagerness to learn and develop
Robust leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
