Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join their Civil Operations team on a temporary assignment for approximately 2–3 months.
The hours for this position is 6:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of civil labouring and maintenance tasks
- Assist with the construction and maintenance of roads and other civil infrastructure
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all WHS procedures
- Work effectively within a team to deliver quality outcomes
- Report maintenance issues, hazards and improvement opportunities to supervisors
- Contribute to a positive team culture and support fellow crew members
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in road maintenance, civil construction or a similar labouring workplace
- Experience operating hand tools
- A current White Card (essential)
- A current Class C driver's licence with manual driving capability (essential)
- MR Licence (desirable)
