About the role

San-Tech Machining Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our production operations, contributing to the efficient delivery of high-quality machining services. This position is integral to maintaining our high standards of workmanship and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting with material handling and preparation for machining operations
2. Supporting production staff by transporting and organising tools, equipment and materials throughout the workshop
3. Performing general cleaning and maintenance of work areas to ensure a safe and organised workspace
4. Operating basic machinery and equipment under supervision and guidance
5. Assisting with the setup and breakdown of work stations as required
6. Performing ad hoc tasks and supporting other team members to meet production deadlines
7. Hours will be 7.30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 1.30pm Friday, No weekend work.
8. Regular Overtime Available.

What we're looking for

1. A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality work consistently
2. Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour, including lifting and carrying heavy items
3. Willingness to learn recent skills and develop within the manufacturing environment
4.



Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
5. Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to maintain regular attendance
6. Awareness of health and safety practices and a commitment to safe working procedures
7. Basic numeracy and literacy skills
8. Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or a labour role is advantageous but not essential
9. A positive attitude and flexibility in approaching work tasks
