Pedders Suspension & Brakes Newcastle has been servicing both retail and trade customers in the Newcastle area for more than 30 years. We are located Warners Bay within a recent purpose built facility at Warners Bay.

The opportunity
The is a key position within our business where you won't just be stuck doing 1 thing all day long. We are looking for a person who wants to take on more responsibility, learn new skills and wants to excel.
You will be responsible for all things parts in our business and have excellent personal skills to build strong and lasting relationships with our team, head office and most importantly our customers. You will also assist the store manager as required
You will be interacting with our trade customers, making sure everything is running smoothly and also looking for opportunities to increase business in our trade sales space
Training on our computer systems will be provided
Your day-to-day will include but not limited too
- Answering calls from customers
- Raising and receiving of purchase orders
- Entering invoices for parts purchased
- Highlighting and discrepancies found in orders
- Ordering of parts from suppliers using trade catalogues and databases
- Packing of parts for trade delivery/pick up
- Delivering parts to trade customers in the Newcastle area
- Manual drivers licence (C Class)
- Providing estimates for customers
- Invoicing of parts to customers
- Filing of paperwork ready for our admin team
- Keeping warehouse clean and tidy
- Stocktake
- Assisting workshop with parts requirements for vehicles booked in
- Assisting Store manager
About you
We are looking for a person who can work well within a small team to achieve common goals but also work independently when needed. We desire the following skills in you:
- Can work independently.
- Rapid learner with a Can-do attitude.
- Professional appearance.
- Problem solver and can think outside of the box.
- Previous role as a automotive parts and administration or a high level knowledge of the automotive industry
- Minimum 1-3 years automotive industry experience
- Exceptional communication & customer service is essential.
- Stock/Inventory control experience.
- Easy going/personable.
- Pronto Software experience preferred but not required
- Available Monday to Friday.
- Manual driver's licence.
- High attention to detail.
Woking hours
Part Time Monday to Friday 8.30am to Approx 2.30pm
May lead to Full Time hours in the future for the right candidate
