The Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager with Nursing qualifications to lead our busy specialist practice. This is a dual role, combining hands‑on clinical expertise with operational leadership to ensure the smooth, compliant, and patient‑focused running of the clinic. The successful applicant must be comfortable with learning new technologies and procedures from the incumbent nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage staff performance, resolve workplace concerns and mentor team members
- Recruit, onboard, and assist with training of new nursing staff
- Develop and manage nurse rosters and leave coverage




- Educate and support reception staff to enhance patient communication
- Assist doctors with clinical needs and act as their point of contact
- Undertake direct patient care when required
- Develop, update, and implement clinic policies and emergency protocols
- Oversee management of inventory, ordering, and equipment servicing with nursing team
- Lead practice management meetings and training sessions

About You

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Proven leadership and management experience within a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong ability to mentor staff and foster teamwork
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Knowledge of compliance, auditing, and accreditation processes
- Patient-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
