Reporting directly tothe CFO, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely andinsightful financial management across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Manage generalledger activities including month end journals.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including detailed P&Lanalysis;, balance sheet reconciliations and commentary on business performance.
- Prepare cashflow forecasting and support budgeting processes.
- Partner with operational and senior leadership teams to deliver financial insights,performance reporting, and commercial support.
- Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunitiesand areas for cost optimisation.
- Oversee AccountsPayable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial processes,
controls and systems.
- Manage taxcompliance obligations including BAS, GST and payroll tax requirements.
About You
- CPA or CA qualifiedwith a relevant tertiary degree.
- Provenexperience in a hands-on Financial Accountant or Senior Financial Accountantrole, or public practice background.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret andpresent financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach to day-to-day financial tasks.
- A collaborativeand professional approach, with the ability to contribute to a positive teamculture while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
- Experience withERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and robust excel capability.
- Systems andprocess optimisation experience.
- Confidentcommunicator with the ability to engage across all levels of the business.
