About the role

Join The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Podiatry team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care for patients with complex wound and high-risk foot conditions. We are seeking two Podiatrists to work across acute, sub-acute and community health settings, managing a diverse caseload while further developing their expertise in high-risk foot care.

This role provides an opportunity to work within a leading Podiatry and Diabetic Foot service, where you will be supported to enhance your clinical skills, contribute to cutting-edge models of care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

- Provide patient-centred podiatry assessment and treatment across acute, sub-acute and community health settings, with a focus on high-risk foot care, wound management and prevention of lower limb complications.
- Manage a diverse clinical caseload while developing your skills through structured supervision, clinical support and professional development opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot Unit and wider healthcare teams to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care.
- Support patient education, care planning and engagement with patients, carers and healthcare professionals to achieve positive health outcomes.




- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance podiatry services.

About You

- Hold a recognised Podiatry qualification and full registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Possess experience and interest in wound management
- Can work as part of a team and enjoy a culture of feedback and working with others
- Have effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work across acute, sub-acute and community health sites
