Ozone Hospitality Services, a leading provider of accommodation services, is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations at our hotel in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest satisfaction across our property.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing direction, training and performance feedback
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures and schedules to maximise efficiency and quality
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
- Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Liaise with other departments to resolve any guest queries or issues related to housekeeping
- Prepare reports and analyse data to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills to effectively coordinate and motivate a team
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Proficient in using housekeeping management software and other relevant technology
- Sound knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to hygiene and safety
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of challenges
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with guests and cross-functional teams
