Our main workshop is located in Wulkuraka, QLD, where this role will be based, and we also have an additional depot in Bohle, QLD (Townsville).
With decades of combined industry experience, our team of qualified diesel mechanics and technicians is dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance solutions for a wide range of heavy vehicles and machinery.
We provide support to both our internal fleet operations and external clients across transport, civil construction, waste management, and industrial sectors.
Position Overview
We're looking for a qualified Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in the Workshop.
You'll be working across a range of machinery, including:
Light Vehicles
Rigid Trucks
Prime movers
Trailers - flat tops, vacuum tankers, tippers
Earthmoving equipment - dozers,



excavators, posi-tracks, graders
Work will be performed both in our workshop and on-site in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment
Diagnosing faults and carrying out rebuilds
Field service and workshop-based work
Keeping maintenance records up to date
Following safety procedures and working as part of a team
Skills & Experience
Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Experience with heavy vehicles and/or earthmoving equipment
Robust diagnostic and fault-finding ability
HR/HC licence (preferred but not essential)
Ability to work independently and within a team
