THE ROLE
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of New Estate Residential build projects from planning through to completion. You'll work closely with other Project Managers, Supervisors, clients and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
This is a hands-on role that combines technical engineering, commercial management and stakeholder engagement, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning, programming and delivery of New Residential Estate construction projects.
- Prepare project documentation, procurement activities and purchase orders.
- Support tendering, estimating and contract reviews.
- Manage subcontractor engagement, contract administration and progress claims.
- Monitor project costs, variations, extensions of time and financial performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients,
consultants and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits and KPI reviews.
- Assist with project reporting, planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive and solutions-focused engineer who enjoys working collaboratively and taking ownership of your projects. You have excellent communication skills and a strong commercial mindset, with the ability to balance quality, safety and profitability.
- A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil preferred).
- A current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Sound knowledge of civil construction practices and engineering principles.
- Understanding of contract administration, procurement and quantity surveying.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using project management or estimating software highly regarded.
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
