Qualified Electrical Fitter C10 and Factory Hands

DNN Pty Ltd is a well-established Carrum Downs-based manufacturer of electrical switchboards supplying electrical wholesalers throughout Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter / Switchboard Builder and general experienced Factory Hands to join our growing workshop team.

This is a factory-based role in a clean and organised manufacturing environment — not domestic house wiring or construction site work.

About the Role

You will be involved in the assembly and wiring of custom-built electrical switchboards from engineering drawings and schematics and assisting other electrical fitters.

Duties include:

- Assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards

- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics

- Mounting components and cable management

- Busbar assembly and fitting

- Testing and fault finding

- Maintaining quality workmanship and workshop standards

- Working safely within company procedures

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:





- at least 3 years of experience in switchboard manufacturing or industrial control panel wiring

- Ability to read electrical schematics independently

- Strong attention to detail

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Reliable attendance and work ethic

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

- Candidates must have valid Australian work rights

Applicants must hold either an Electrical Fitter Certificate III or an A Grade Electrical Licence, with experience working with electrical switchboards.

Standard hours:
Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 3:15pm
Friday: 6:30am – 11:30am

Pay rate negotiable based on experience and capability.
