PLASTERER / PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TRADESPERSON

The Esteem Group is a well established Plumbing, Building Maintenance and Renovation company based in Melbourne.

We work across domestic and commercial properties throughout Melbourne's Eastern, Inner Eastern, Inner North and Inner South Eastern suburbs.

Due to continued demand, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our growing team full time. This is first and foremost a plastering role. While there is variety in the work, the majority of your time will be spent on plastering andplaster repairs, so strong hands on plastering skills are essential.

This role would suit a skilled plasterer who also enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is happy to assist with painting and general maintenance tasks between plastering jobs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your day will primarily involve:

Plaster repairs, patching, setting and finishing of walls and ceilings

Water damage plaster repairs and replacement, including insurance restoration work

Installing new plasterboard,



cornice and ceiling sheets

Preparing plastered surfaces ready for painting

Painting of internal and external surfaces

General maintenance, carpentry and minor repair tasks to support renovation projects

General handyman and property maintenance tasks

Maintaining clean, organised and safe job sites

ABOUT YOU

Proven experience as a plasterer, with the ability to patch, set and finish to a high standard. This is the key requirement for the role.

Experience across both repair work and new plasterboard installation

Painting experience will be highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

Good communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual and well presented

Able to work independently and manage your time effectively

Positive attitude and team focused mindset

White Card and current Driver Licence required

Ability to pass a National Police Check

Ability to obtain or pass a Victorian Working With Children Check

Please note this is not a general handyman or carpentry role. Applicants without solid plastering experience will not be considered.
