- Permanent Part-time - Night Duty- 3 days roster for week 1 and 4 days for week 2 - On a rotating roster, work 1x weekend a fortnight
- Pay rate – $47.30 - $59 per hour + superannuation

Reporting directly to the Care Manager at Villa Maria Unanderra which is 96 bed home, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home. There will be 2-night Registered Nurse on the floor for the support.

About the Role

- Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
- Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
- Working in a protected manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need





- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
- Strong coaching/training skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
