About the role

MSS Security is seeking professional Full Time Reliever Security Officers to join our team, providing security services across the U.S Consulate sites in St Kilda and Toorak .

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Monitor and control access to restricted areas, including verifying IDs and issuing passes.

- Operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV, alarms, X-ray machines and metal detectors.

- Conduct screening of personnel, visitors and deliveries, including ID checks, bag inspections and screening for prohibited items.

- Perform regular patrols (internal, external and residence)



to ensure doors, gates and perimeters are secure.

- Respond to security incidents or alerts, including initiating lockdowns, denying access, or calling for backup as per protocol.

- Log and report all relevant activities, incidents and irregularities in official records, logs or reports.

Ideal candidates will have:

- Must be an Australian Citizen .

- Valid Victorian Security Licence.

- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.

- Certificate II in security operations (or higher).

- Possess a Handcuff and Baton Certificate (or willing to obtain).

- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).

- Willing to undergo a National Police Check.

- 24/7 Availability.
