CJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team as a resident technician servicing the Bathurst, Orange and Cowra region .

In this autonomous role, you'll perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of Volvo Construction Equipment , providing exceptional service and support to customers across Central West NSW.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Volvo construction machines
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
- Work autonomously in the field to complete scheduled and breakdown servicing and repairs
- Utilise computer-based diagnostic tools and parts catalogues
- Coordinate service bookings and communicate directly with customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the Central West region
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards

About You

- Qualified Heavy Diesel, Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant Mechanic (or equivalent)
- Current MR Licence
- Experience with construction, earthmoving or heavy equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills




- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Willing to travel throughout the Central West region
- A proactive team player with a robust commitment to safety
