Project Administrator | Environmental Scientist

Do you have a degree in Environmental Science (or similar) and want to understand how environmental consulting projects are delivered in the real world?

Avisure is looking for an ambitious early-career professional who wants to learn the consulting business from the ground up.

Working with the Corporate Services Team alongside experienced consultants you'll gain practical experience in business administration and project delivery, client management, business systems and compliance, proposal development, data management and professional report production.

This is a rare opportunity to see every stage of the consulting process while building the skills and commercial understanding needed for a long-term career in environmental consulting.

What You'll Learn

Unlike traditional early-career positions, this role provides exposure to the full consulting lifecycle:

- Business systems and process improvement
- Elements of IT, Human Resources and OHS administration
- Project setup/administration and project management systems
- Proposal and tender development and administration
- Professional report and document administration/preparation
- Data management and quality control
- Environmental consulting operations

You’ll work directly with experienced professionals who will mentor and support your development while helping you build practical skills that universities simply cannot teach.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or a related discipline

Wants to build a career in environmental consulting and administration

Exceptionally organised and detail-focused

Enjoys working with systems, documents and data

Communicates professionally with clients and colleagues

Has strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Copilot

Is curious, motivated and eager to learn

No previous consulting experience is required. We’ll provide the training and mentorship. What matters most is your attitude, organisation skills, and desire to learn.
