Industrial Packaging Electrician Contract/Casual 12hr Nigh ShiftAbout the roleWe are seeking casual or contract electricians long term for our clients who are committed to meeting the expectations of our customers, whilst maintaining a consistent high standard of safety and well-being.Candidates must hold permanent resident status or Australian citizenship to be eligible for this position.This role is forimmediate startfor the right candidate with production experience in the food packaging industry (FCMG manufacturing) with valuable troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and be willing to work as part of an established team.A minimum of 3 years of experience in food packaging or FMCG manufacturing environments is essential for this role.To be considered for this role you must hold an Australian recognised Trade Qualification Certificate IV.
You would have had previous experience working within the manufacturing setting,



deal with breakdowns and fault finding.What you will be doingPerforming scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance on industrial packaging equipmentTroubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults across packaging linesImplementing electrical upgrades and modifications to improve the efficiency and reliability of packaging systemsEnsuring all electrical work meets relevant safety standards and regulatory requirementsProviding electrical support and guidance to the production teamMaintaining detailed records of all electrical work performedWhat we are looking forQualified electricians casual or contract with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and packaging equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsProficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and toolsExcellent problem solving and diagnostic skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to secure work practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThe RoleDay Shift & Night Shift positions - Immediate start12 hr roster, week 1 - 3 on 4 off, Week 2 - 4 on 3 offWorking with industry leading manufacturersMinimum of 8 months to 12 months potential of going permanent with the client.
