ABOUT THE ROLE

Located in our Booking Centre in Ballarat you'll be the first point of contact for our patients. If you enjoy working in a lively inbound call centre environment , this is the perfect role for you !
You'll use your superstar customer service skills to manage appointment enquiries and bookings. Ideally, you'll have experience in the medical or radiology field , but if you're passionate about the health industry , we want to hear from you!

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Take inbound calls and determine the required service
- Handle bookings and enquiries efficiently
- Notify patients of pre-visit requirements
- Liaise with technical and support staff
- Quote fees and Medicare rebate amounts
- Book appointments at the relevant site
- Assist with other tasks as needed

ABOUT YOU

- Excellent communication & phone skills - articulate, empathetic, and a valuable listener
- Previous customer service or high-volume call centre experience
- Confident using computers and quick to learn new systems
- A proactive attitude to training and development
- Health/medical reception experience (highly regarded)
- RIS/PACS systems experience (also highly regarded)
