Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Administration Officer to join our growing team. We have two part‑time opportunities available: 0.4 EFT as an ongoing position and 0.6 EFT fixed‑term contract for 12 months to cover parental leave. Consideration may also be given to appointing a single candidate across both positions (1.0 EFT), subject to suitability and operational requirements.

Working in a fast paced setting, the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Administration Officer provides efficient and high‑quality administrative support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team and employees across Latrobe Regional Health. This role plays a key part in coordinating the administration of all components of the Workers Compensation, Injury Management, and Health, Safety and Wellbeing programs.

The role of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Administration Officer is to:

- Coordinate the administration of Workers Compensation and Injury Management processes and documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely wage payments for all workcover employees in accordance with compensation entitlements
- Maintain accurate records, files and databases relating to Health, Safety & Wellbeing activities
- Process reimbursements from the insurer and reconcile claims
- Monitor incident reports and provide administrative support for injury management, wellbeing and workplace safety matters.
- Process medical expenses for injured workers.
- Maintain and update RTW plans as necessary, in consultation with the Health & Wellbeing Advisor.




- Assist with the preparation of reports, data analysis and monitoring of trends
- Assist in the development, coordination and promotion of Health, Safety & Wellbeing programs, campaigns and communications.
- Develop meeting agendas and minutes.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Proficient administrative experience with strong working knowledge of Microsoft suites including intermediate to advance Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- A high level of attention to detail, with a solid understanding of confidentiality and data handling requirements.
- Have excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
- A proactive, responsible and adaptable approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in workcover/injury management is desirable.
