PRIME PROPERTY UPGRADES PTY LTD We are looking for a qualified and motivated Carpenter to undertake a variety of construction, renovation, and repair projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing timber structures, interpreting plans, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while complying with Australian building regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Task & responsibilities

Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to determine project requirements, measurements, and installation methods.

Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble timber, plywood, wallboard, and other construction materials. Select, order, and prepare building materials required for construction and renovation projects. Construct, install, renovate, and repair timber frameworks, walls, roofs, floors, ceilings, partitions, doors, windows, and other structural components.

Assemble and install prefabricated timber components, fixtures, and fittings with precision and accuracy. Install roof framing, subfloor structures, floorboards, wall cladding, fascia boards, door frames,



and window frames. Create and fit timber joints, ensuring structural integrity and quality workmanship.

Inspect completed work to verify alignment, measurements, and compliance with project specifications. Carry out repairs, alterations, and maintenance to existing structures and fittings as required. Assist in the construction of concrete formwork where necessary.

Work with a range of materials including timber, laminates, plywood, plasterboard, Perspex, and light metal products. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment while complying with workplace health and safety regulations.

Qualification & experience

Relevant qualification in Carpentry or equivalent must be completed.

1–3 years of relevant work experience as a Carpenter. Sound knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and workplace safety. Ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Registration or licensing may be required.
