About this Position

Spicers is a national Company with offices and warehouses in every state and territory in Australia.We are a leading provider of products and services to the print, design and advertising industries. Our range is targeted to various print segments and includes fine paper, Visual Communication materials, synthetics, self-adhesives, packaging grades and a number of other substrates.

We currently have a vacancy for a Flexo Print Operator at our Dingley site, which specialises in Food Packaging.

The role is an afternoon shift role, working from 2.30pm-11pm, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate for this position is $35.82. A 20% shift allowance is also payable. All other conditions are in accordance with the site Enterprise Agreement.

Reporting to the Team Leader the main duties will include:

- Production of a quality product conforming to current quality control standards;
- Pack finished product to specified standards ready for despatch;




- Set up machine according to job specifications;
- Identify and resolve machinal or product issues;

To succeed in this role you will need:

- Prior print machine, or similar machine, operation experience is essential;
- Prior experience in the print industry would be highly desirable;
- Demonstrable knowledge of machine maintenance and repair;
- Right to Work in Australia (essential).
