We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cook to join exclusively at Kidscape Early Learning Centre Dubbo.
This is a genuine, ongoing full time role responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for children in accordance with childcare nutrition guidelines, food safety standards, and centre policies.
The successful candidate may be placed at any of our regional centres listed above, depending on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
Prepare meals for children with allergies and special dietary requirements.
Estimate daily food requirements.
Implement rotating menus.
Order food supplies.
Maintain food temperatures.
Complete food safety records.
Maintain kitchen hygiene.
Manage stock rotation.




Ensure compliance with Food Standards Australia.
New Zealand.
Work with the Centre Director regarding attendance numbers and dietary requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Cook.
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Experience in childcare, education, healthcare, or similar settings highly regarded
Requirements

Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
