MCA Engineering is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our friendly Finance team in Thornton.
This is a permanent part-time position (3 days per week) with flexible hours available, and genuine prospect to increase to full-time as our business continues togrow.Your responsibilitiesManaging Accounts Receivable including invoicing, statements, reconciliations and collectionsTracking project costs, job costings submissions and variation registersProcessing financial transactions using Xero and SimPRO (Experience with SimPRO is highly regarded, however training will be provided to the right candidate)Monitoring client purchase orders and project billingSupporting project managers with financial informationAssisting the Finance team with general administrationYou'll be successful if you have:Experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance roleStrong working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting softwareExcellent attention to detail and numerical accuracyIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsStrong organisational and communication skillsExperience with job costing, project administration or SimPRO will be highly regarded.Flexible working hours to suit school commitmentsPermanent part time position with long-term securityOpportunity to grow into a full-time roleSupportive and collaborative Finance teamModern office with onsite parkingStable, growing company with genuine career opportunitiesCompetitive hourly rate based on experienceAbout Us:MCA Engineering is a trusted leader in delivering cutting-edge solutions and expert advice to the minerals and construction sectors across Australia.
