General Store All Rounder - Retail and Food Prep
CURRUMBIN GENERAL is seeking versatile team members to handle customer service, daily food preparation, and hot cooking.
Responsibilities
Operating the POS register and assisting customers with purchases and store inquiries.
Preparing & packaging fresh sandwiches, wraps, and grab and go items.
Operating commercial deep fryers to cook hot chips orders safely and efficiently
Maintain food safety, hygiene standards and clean workspaces.
Stockings shelves, pricing items and rotating stock
Cleaning of Kitchen and store areas, stock management, & waste minimisation.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Retail, Takeaway shop, or Food Prep setting
Robust customer service skills - building strong customer relationships and local connection with the community
Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends on a rotating roster
We are a busy General Store located directly on the beach at Currumbin who are planning a reopening after a renovation and looking for new team members to join us in this exciting new phase.
