We are passionate about providing quality health care to our patients.An prospect has arisen for experienced and motivated casual medical receptionist/s to join our friendly team for around * hours per week to workWeekday morning shifts 7:45am - 1pm.
We may choose 1 person to do all shifts or 2 people to shareYou must have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to work under pressure in a busy clinic and be able to multitask.The ideal person will have:Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a large busy medical centreExperience with Medicare, HiCaps and private billingsAbility to multi task and perform under pressure with strong attention to detailFlexibility in working hours and able to work school holidays and fill in for sick and holiday leaveExcellent customer service skills and effective interpersonal skillsHonest,



reliable and a robust team playerAble to work in Australia without limitations or restrictionsKey Responsibilities include:Answer telephone calls, check voice mails, schedule appointments, process patient billingsTake payment, manage claims to Medicare and DVA, processing of workers compensation claimsLiaise with patients, GPs and other health specialists in a professional mannerPerform specific duties as required by doctors (e.g. collecting refreshments and lunch)Ensure consulting rooms are stocked and remain neat and tidy throughout the dayContribute equitably to maintaining the cleanliness of the practice (including reception area, waiting room, doctors rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and front and back exterior areas )Other administrative duties as deemed necessary for the running of the practice as directed by the Practice ManagerWe are looking for someone to start immediately and be able to hit the ground running with minimal trainingBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
