We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Trade Assistants to join our clients' busy workshop and manufacturing operations across Sydney.
This is an excellent prospect to secure ongoing work with reputable companies offering reliable hours, up-to-date facilities, and supportive team environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & ProductionAssemble mechanical and electrical components using technical drawings and work instructions.Ensure products are built to specification and meet quality standards.Tool OperationSafely operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.Perform basic measurements and adjustments using workshop tools.Trade SupportAssist qualified tradespeople including boilermakers, electricians, and mechanical fitters.Handle materials, prepare work areas,
and support daily workshop operations.Quality & SafetyConduct quality checks on completed assemblies and components.Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 12 months' experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, trades assistance, or warehousing.Confident using hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, spanners, and measuring equipment.Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, blueprints, or schematics.Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and standing throughout shifts.Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic.Current driver's licence and reliable transport.Highly Regarded TicketsWhite CardForklift Licence (LF)Working at HeightsConfined SpaceElevated Work Platform (EWP)
