About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our R&D; & Government Incentives team in Brisbane. Our R&D; team has established itself as a leading player in the local market, partnering with organisations across agribusiness, manufacturing, software and life sciences to maximise access to government incentives, navigate complex legislation and support innovation‑led growth.

As a Manager, you will lead a portfolio of clients, build trusted relationships and deliver high‑quality advisory services. You will play a key role in driving client outcomes, supporting the growth of the practice, mentoring junior team members and strengthening your leadership and commercial capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead client engagements to identify and optimise tax incentives and government grants based on innovative technology activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and strategic advice.
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation to assess eligible R&D; activities and expenditure.
- Act as the main contact for finance and technical stakeholders, ensuring effective information sharing and collaboration.
- Provide coaching and support to junior team members.
- Partner with the leadership team to meet practice goals and contribute to business development initiatives.

About You

- 4+ years’ experience in R&D; Tax,



ideally within a Big 4 or Mid‑tier environment.
- Solid client advisory and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable working with technical concepts and translating them for different audiences.
