Bakers Delight Tamworth is seeking a motivated and experienced Qualified Baker to join our friendly and hardworking bakery team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, rolls, buns and specialty bakery products

- Mix, divide, mould, shape, prove and bake dough in accordance with Bakers Delight recipes and production standards

- Monitor dough fermentation, proofing times, oven temperatures and product quality

- Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, dough dividers, moulders, provers and ovens

- Maintain consistent product quality, presentation and freshness

- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements

- Complete daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas

- Assist with stock rotation, ingredient preparation, ordering and waste control

- Work effectively with other bakery team members to meet daily production requirements

- Assist with training and supporting junior bakery staff when required





Requirements

- Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience

- Previous experience working as a Baker in a commercial or retail bakery

- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proofing and baking techniques

- Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment

- Reliable, punctual and physically capable of performing bakery duties
