Veritas Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Blackburn from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator with a passion for subjects such as History, Geography and Religious Education to inspire young learners and make a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role

- Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote excellent outcomes
The Ideal Candidate

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
