Finance Officer (Temporary 6-10 Weeks) | Cairns CBD

Are you an experienced Finance Officer who enjoys working across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable? We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised professional to join a well-established Cairns-based organisation on a temporary assignment.

Based in Cairns CBD, this role offers the opportunity to support a busy finance team across day-to-day transactional finance and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities

- Accounts Payable, including supplier invoice processing, reconciliations, supplier queries and weekly payment runs
- Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, receipt allocations and debt collection
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Month-end finance tasks including journals and accruals
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team





About You
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or Assistant Accountant role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing moderate to high transaction volumes
- Exposure to NetSuite and/or Simpro will be highly regarded
