Join a large and complex organisation undertaking a significant digital transformation program designed to modernise operational services and decision-making capabilities. Based in Brisbane CBD, this 24-month contract offers the opportunity to play a leading role in the development of a new cloud-based platform that will bring together operational, enterprise, data and geospatial systems into a single workplace.
Your new role
As the Azure Full Stack Technical Lead, you will take ownership of the application architecture, design and development approach for a large-scale Azure-hosted platform. Working closely with architects, engineers, UX specialists and business stakeholders, you will establish development standards, guide technical direction and lead the delivery of scalable application services and user-facing capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the design and development of a large Azure-hosted single page application
- Defining application architecture across presentation, business logic, API and data layers
- Designing reusable application patterns, service interfaces and integration frameworks
- Building secure, scalable and maintainable cloud-native solutions
- Collaborating with data, DevOps and UX teams to deliver integrated outcomes
- Supporting automated build, testing and deployment practices
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to other developers
- Ensuring high standards of code quality,



security and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical leadership experience coupled with deep hands-on development capability within Azure environments.You'll have experience with:

- Microsoft Azure application development and cloud services
- Full stack application development within complex enterprise environments
- Angular and/or React development
- Azure SQL and enterprise data integration
- API design and integration patterns
- Single page applications (SPA)
- Layered application architecture and modern design principles
- Secure coding, governance and application lifecycle management
- Technical leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience delivering highly available enterprise platforms in regulated or operationally complex environments will be highly regarded.
