We’re seeking a proactive and personable Customer Service Officer to join a supportive and quick‑paced team. This is an ongoing temporary contract, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a team environment, and is confident speaking with customers both over the phone and face-to-face.
Your new role
You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, taking orders, preparing quotes, and providing general support to ensure a smooth customer experience.Key Responsibilities

- Answer incoming customer calls and manage enquiries professionally
- Process customer orders and prepare accurate quotes
- Assist walk‑in customers and provide exceptional on‑site service
- Manage regular and cash sales
- Handle a high volume of emails and maintain clear communication
- Use a variety of in‑house and internet‑based systems (full training provided)

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous customer service experience (phone-based or face-to-face)
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident about using Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems quickly
- A positive, friendly personality and willingness to learn
- Enjoys being part of a fast-paced and close‑knit team
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
