About the role

Flex Pulse Therapy is seeking an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality therapeutic massage services to our clients in Maitland, NSW. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation and therapy services, helping clients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall wellbeing. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work with a progressive healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct thorough client assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and develop individualised treatment plans

- Deliver remedial massage therapy treatments using a range of techniques to address client needs and promote recovery

- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress documentation

- Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans, progress, and self-care recommendations

- Liaise with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists and medical practitioners, to ensure coordinated care

- Ensure a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment

- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and professional standards

- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) or equivalent professional body

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist

- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or higher qualification in a related therapeutic discipline

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to massage therapy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients





- Ability to work autonomously whilst being a supportive team member

- Current First Aid and CPR certification

- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

- Experience working within a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable

- Knowledge of injury prevention and ergonomic principles
